(Q1.) What is the difference between a collage and a Gift of a Lifetime poster?
(ANS) A collage, though nice to have, typically just combines all of your photos into a blob of pictures on a page. A Gift of a Lifetime poster is professionally designed and customized – specifically for you and your family. There are many templates to choose from – each original and eye-catching. A Gift of a Lifetime poster is a keepsake that is designed to be displayed and loved for a lifetime.
(Q2.) What is the difference between a photo montage and a Gift of a Lifetime DVD?
(ANS) A photo montage is often a random sequence of photos set to music – kind of like a slide show. The Gift of a Lifetime DVD is a video biography. Your photos and home movies plus graphics are set to music by our editors for a production that is professional and heart-warming. Family and friend interviews (for the bigger packages) are added to give the final production a meaningful and inspirational flair. Scripted and edited, the Gift of a Lifetime DVD tells the story of a person’s life.
(Q3.) Is it difficult to order?
(ANS) Our customized projects are not difficult for you to order. We work with you to make the process as simple as possible. Uploading photos or sending them to us is easy and straightforward and we’re here to assist you.
(Q4.) What is expected of the client?
(ANS) It can be fun for the client to choose new and old photos to use for their Gift of a Lifetime. We appreciate the cooperation and involvement of our customers to work with us in the production of their customized project. After you have ordered your Gift of a Lifetime through our Shopping Cart and are set up in the system, the next step will be to use our easy photo uploader or mail your photos to us and we can get started. The process is simple and pleasant.
(Q6.) I prefer sending my photographs via regular mail, is this acceptable?
(ANS) It most certainly is. However, instead of sending your original photographs to us, we highly recommend that you take your photos to your local Walgreen, or CVS, or Reitz Store’s, etc. (photo development department) and tell them that you would like the photos to be scanned and placed on CD at the highest possible resolution. This is, by the way, an affordable process. By taking this extra step, you will not risk your original photographs from being accidentally damaged or lost. Furthermore, it will back up your original photographs and insure that those photographs scanned on the CD will be better preserved. The CD will be returned with your product.
(Q7.) Which photographs should I select?
(ANS) There is a Tips Button by each product to help you select the best photographs for your particular Gift of a Lifetime product. Generally speaking, during the photo selection process, obviously include your favorite photos as well as those that might be considered cute, touching, funny, or inspirational. All photos that you have, even those that are as old as 100 plus years of age, are acceptable. However, especially for the Gift of a Lifetime posters, the quality, sharpness, and resolution of the photographs are a factor. Each photograph must be scanned at 300 dpi (dots per inch) for bigger posters or they will come out blurry.
(Q8.) I’m uncomfortable about ordering on-line, may I order by phone or by regular mail?

(Q9.) Can I approve my poster?
(ANS) Yes. Before sending out your finished product, you will have the opportunity to view a final proof of your Gift of a Lifetime. We want you to be more than completely satisfied with your Gift of a Lifetime. For clerical errors such as a misspelled name or a minor change, such as a color change, we will correct any mistakes and make any changes – free of charge. However, for major changes of design, such as rearranging the photos, deleting and adding photos, the fee is $35 per change.
(Q10.) What payment options do I have?
(ANS) We accept all major credit cards, money orders, and checks.
(Q11.) Can you frame my poster?
(ANS) We offer framing for all of our posters complete and ready to display on the wall of your home or office.
